Abstract
This paper targets at CO2-H2S coexisting corrosive environment of No. I carbonate gasfield in Middle Tarim, primarily screens out surface pipeline inhibitor particularly applicable to the environment through surface water environment simulation, and performs a feasibility evaluation on complex formulation inhibitor YT-1 through corrosion experiments with simulation of Well Tazhong-83/62-3 surface pipeline environments. The study results show that YT-1 inhibitor has good antisulfide stress corrosion cracking (SSCC) property, able to limit corrosion rate of L360 pipe material below 0.076 mm/yr. After the inhibitor is applied to both the wells in the gasfield, the related corrosion monitoring results suggest good corrosion inhibition effects, for surface pipeline corrosion rate averages 0.016 mm/yr, and no pipeline cracking occurs.
