AC interference investigation and simulation assessment of buried pipeline

  • With the rapid development of high-voltage power transmission lines, AC electrified railway and oil and gas pipeline are suffering from AC interference increasingly. When existing pipeline are subjected to serious interference but an accurate source of interference cannot be determined, it is more difficult to design effective mitigation measures. Through measuring the continued AC interference voltage in the stable state of buried pipeline, effective mitigation measures through simulating AC interference results with computer software can be designed and determined to propose specific technical indicators for mitigation measures, such as earthing position, earthing scale, earthing resistance, etc. Research results show that computer software can simulate AC interference voltage distribution on the pipeline and design effective mitigation measures.
