Integrity management of urban gas distribution pipeline

Investigations show that researches and practices in the integrity management of urban gas pipelines in USA have been carried out, and the integrity management standards and regulations in the country given in the paper are from the investigations. This paper integrates with successful integrity management experiences of worldwide long-distancegas pipelines, brings forward integrity management technological flow directing at the urban gas distribution pipelines, and points out that integrity management shall be divided into 6 steps, including data management, leakage management program, risk assessment, integrity assessment, repair & maintenance and effectiveness evaluation, first and then implemented cyclically. Aiming at the 6 integrity management links, the main content for each is proposed.
