Research progress in the heat transfer mechanism of coal-mine gas hydrate decomposition process

  • China has abundant gas resource, however, traditional industrial technologies cannot effectively utilize the gas, which becomes a bottleneck in the development of coal bed gas industry. The application of hydrate technology in gas processing, storage and transportation has brought a new chance for the development of the coal bed gas industry. In this paper, the authors summarize the research progress in the heat transfer mechanism in non-gas gas hydrate formation and the decomposition process, analyze the necessity of carrying out further research into the heat transfer mechanism of the coal mine gas hydrate decomposition process. It is pointed out how 3D temperature field-based test equipments can be used to study the temperature field distribution in hydrate decomposition process under the influence factors, such as coal-mine gas component, accelerator, etc., and to explore the coupling action relationship between heat transfer and the gas hydrate decomposition reaction, is the key scientific issue to be solved.
