Contrastive analysis of fatigue risk management standards for oil and gas pipeline operators at home and abroad

  • With respect to heath management of pipeline operators, there is no domestic standard available. American National Standard API RP 755-2010 Risk Management System for Fatigue of Refining and Petrochemical Personnel is introduced, mainly including limiting working time and limiting rest time of 12 h, 10 h and 8 h shift systems under conditions of normal operating condition, shutdown and shift extension, as well as personnel workload balance, personal risk assessment, training of scientific sleep and fatigue reduction, working environment design, temporary arrangement, fatigue accident investigation and other contents. Due to innovative concept, state-of-the-art technical content as well as high applicability and operability of the standard, its adoption is proposed.
