Abstract
In view of the present situation of unattended manual valve chambers along oil and gas pipelines, this paper analyzes the issues in the manual valve chambers in communication, electricity and land acquisition and transformation, and proposes a new integral system which meets the security construction requirements for manual valve chambers and has realtime high-definition video capabilities. The structure and the working principle of subsystems in the system is described. Compared with the transformation cost of power supply and communication of manual valve chambers, the construction cost is low, and has the advantages of low power consumption and small footprint. The site application of manual valve chambers in Lanzhou-Zhengzhou-Changsha Products Oil Pipeline show that the system has good stability and adaptability, can meet the needs in security of a manual valve chamber.
