Structural design of transportation decision-making platform for products pipeline network

  • In order to meet the needs of complex products pipeline network for transportation decision-making and safe operation, a supply chain management concept is introduced to propose structural design of oil transportation decision-making platform. On the basis of improving information visibility in the pipeline network, through simulating pipeline network supply chain model and developing overall transportation plan of pipeline network and offtake tankfarm, all link-up problems for oil transportation are solved and control of transportation risks is achieved to ensure smooth transportation and optimized inventory. Structure of products pipeline network transportation decision-making platform, functions of information systems, decision-making simulation systems, planning systems and status display systems on the platform and their relevance are elaborated to resolve all link-up problems for oil transportation and control transportation risks in order to ensure smooth transportation and optimized inventory.
