Comparison between Sino-Russian pipeline standards in pump station safety

  • Comparative analysis on the safety standards is carried out between China and Russia for pump station of oil and gas long-distance pipeline, the important contents in Russian standard and relatively contents in Chinese standards are given. Russian standards in the automated fire protection system, sound and light alarm device, tank fire protection embankment design, ventilation system of pump chamber and many other aspects are more meticulous than China's current standards, and however, Chinese standards in grounding safety are more detailed and rigid than Russian standards. In terms of environment security, China has developed the state-of-the-art fiber optic environment security technology based on independent research to effectively safeguard safety of pump stations, but relevant standards need to be further improved.
