Oil capacity determination and displacement recognition of tilt oil tank

  • Quasi-Monte Carlo algorithms are used to carry out oil capacity determination, displacements recognition and tilt angle calculation of tilt oil tank, and four algorithms are designed for different situations. Uniformly distributed random points are produced in the space of oil tank. The number of random points below the oil level is calculated to estimate oil capacity at the current oil level height. Oil tank spatial location after displacements is determined using changes in the spatial coordinates, thus estimating the oil capacity reflected by the oil level at current position. Taking measured oil filling data in some oil tank as an example, it determines whether the tank body is displaced according to oil level height, theoretical oil capacity, measured oil capacity and oil pump capacity and obtains the tilt angle using the least square method and grid traversing search algorithm. The results show that the calculation model has certain feasibility and reliability.
