Application of entropy weight analysis method in the design of underground gas storage

  • In view of the underground gas storage design plan involving many factors, the authors suggest to determine an optimal design plan basedon the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and entropy weight method. Combination weighting method subject to combination of the analytichierarchy process and information entropy method is used to determine comprehensive weight of six evaluation indicators such as cushiongas volume, maximum formation pressure at the end of gas injection, number of injection and production wells, gas compression stationpower, project investment, service life and so on and calculations of the analytic hierarchy process on design plans and ideal solutionsimilarity are combined to achieve superiority and inferiority ranking of plans. Calculation results of cases show that the combination ofboth methods can take impacts of both subjective and objective factors into consideration, give an effective method for a designer to selecta technically feasible and economically reasonable design plan and provide aided decision making to the optimization of production andoperating parameters of the underground gas storage.
