Harbor unloading process and optimization of LNG ship

  • Transportation is one of the important links in the LNG industry chain, which directly affects the stability of gas supply and the economy of gas consumption. Shipping has taken a leading position in the LNG transportation by its long distance, large capacity, high safety, and other characteristics. Combined with the characteristics of the bulk LNG international trade and with reference to domestic and international relevant standards and receiving station operating procedures, LNG ship receiving and unloading technology and process are discussedin detail. According to characteristics of different LNG ships in service and especially received domestic ships, ship-harbor compatibility, selection and operation of process equipment in various aspects, etc. are analyzed. For the safety, technology, operation, and other problems of LNG shipping in the unloading process, practical solutions and optimization measures are proposed and LNG receiving and unloading procedure is carefully detailed and improved, which can provide a reference to domestic and international LNG ship receiving and unloading.
