Abstract
Comprehensive evaluation system software of heater for oilfield use is developed based on Visual Basic Language and Access database management tool. This system can be used to assess the energy saving rate of the heater according to the gray correlation analysis theory of entropy weight by calculated process parameters of heaters. Case analysis indicates that different evaluation indicators have different influences on the energy saving rate of heater, and the priority sequence of which lists as follows, exhaust temperature, outside surface temperature of heater, air coefficient and thermal efficiency. The energy saving rate of each heater can be confirmed in accordance with the magnitude of correlativity. If the value is closer to 1, the heater runs better, otherwise it is considered as weak equipment. Thus a more operational basis is provided for the oilfield to improve its overall energy consumption level.
