  • The crystallization characteristics of crude oil pour point depressant(PA)has a serious influence on its performance.Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)is applied to study the crystallization characteristics of PA.The results show that the performance is obviously enhanced with the increase of alkyl side chain.The molecular weight has nothing to do with the crystallization characteristics.The released heat in solvent per PA mass is far smaller than that of the melt,while the concentration of the solvent is not serious.
