Abstract
Urban high-pressure gas pipeline network, both gas supplied from a gas source station in long-distance pipeline or from a LNG gas source station and from multiple sources at the same time, has gradually become the main means to resolve the imbalance between supply and demand of the urban gas market, For multiple gas source pipeline network, firstly, the optimal design scheme for pipeline network can be determined by optimizing pipe diameter: secondly, peak shaving scheme with single or more gas source should be considered, Some urban gas pipeline network which is operated below 6, 4 MPa, with a gas source station of long-distance gas pipeline, a LNG gas source station, 3 peak shaving power plants and 3 city gate stations, will be proposed, Rational pipe diameter for the gas pipeline network that is suitable to use at specified running pressure, requirements in pressure flow rate(or gas source station and a power plant are analyzed by adopting SPS simulation software.
