Special Corrosion Control Technique for Intemal Pipe Wall and Pipe Ends of Submarine Pipeline with Concrete Blocks

  • In the light of serious corrosion in internal pipe wall and pipe ends of submarine 3PE pipeline with concrete blocks during pipe stacking, the pipes below standard are rejected by means of vortex NDT technology·and corrosion control process design is carried out for the rest pipes.Anticorrosive coating on internal pipe wall is sprayed by robot, and pipe ends are wrapped up and protected, which makes the anticorrosive requirements in temporary stacking of pipes reached, and the design requirements for internal pipe wall on anti-corrosivity reached for the pipes in future service.
