Optimization of Transportation Plan for Oil Product Pipeline

In the light of development demand in pipeline transportation business of oil products and current problems existed in drawing up plan of pipeline transportation in Xinjiang, an automatic optimization scheduling method is designed and realized by adopting matlab software based on linear programming.Scheduling/distribution optimized model and restraint conditions for inner Xinjiang oil product pipeline transportation are established. Under the condition of rational inventory and the condition restrained from pipeline transportation plan of WuLan Oil Product Pipeline, optimization on pipeline transportation plan in DuWu Oil Product Pipeline, KeWu Oil Product Pipeline and WangHua Oil Product Pipeline is carried out and experimental simulation based on history data is made. Result shows that the linear programming can effectively increase scheduling/transportation efficiency of oil products within Xinjiang.
