Application of Pipe Sinking Technique in Valley Pipeline Construction

  • According to construction background of some gas pipeline project in Changfeng River Valley domestically, necessity to adopt pipe sinking technique is analyzed, and construction key point of pipe sinking technique is introduced from facets of survey layout, trench excavation and coating detection.Engineering practice indicates that this kind of technique is able to solve the problem in pipe laying in valley where water of high water table is flowing all year round.The technique is characterized by short construction period, safety and reliability, high efficiency and free of influence on seasonal construction.It is suitable for application in similar gas pipeline project.
