Energy Saving Analysis of Heater Operation in Oil Pumping Stations

Based on monitored data in recent two years obtained by Oil Pumping Stations of Sinopec Storage & Transportation Company, flue gas temperature and air coefficient in excess of standards are the more outstanding issues in heaters' operation of pumping stations.The out-of-limits issue in heaters is classified into three abnormal operating conditions.Characteristics under different operating conditions and excessive causes are analyzed.Technical countermeasures and suggestions to realize energy saving during heaters' operation are put forward.
