Research on Causticity of Piped Products

Taking some domestic products pipeline as an objective, causticity of piped oil products is researched adopting static and dynamic coupon test methods, and monitoring to corrosion rate is conducted with on-line internal corrosion monitoring system so as to verify accuracy of the coupon test method.Results show that the coupon test method can precisely reflect internal corrosion extent of the products pipeline.
