Simplified Treatment on Thixotropic Fluid Based on Numerical Simulation Method for Shutdown and Restart-up of Waxy Oil Pipeline

  • During numerical simulation of shutdown process or waxy hot oil pipeline, in which, treating way taken for thixotropic fluid will greatly influence the program running speed.A simplified algorithm to treat thixotropy of crude oil is presented.This algorithm can simulate the process of shutdown and restart-up of waxy oil pipeline with shorter computation time.
