Double Compound Metal Pipe Used in High Corrosion Oil and Gas Fields

Structure performance and manufacturing technology of double compound metal pipe are introduced and its technology and economic advantages are summarized. The paper analyzes application situation and problem existed in the pipe and concrete application cases of this pipe at home and abroad are provided. It is considered that if this pipe will be used of wider scope, four technical issues in optimal corrosion resistance internal alloy liner, selection and assessment of base metal pipe, connection of double compound metal pipe and evaluation of jointing strength between internal and external pipes have to be solved at the same time.
