Adaptability Study on Hydraulic Transient Analysis Model of Liquid Pipeline

  • Dividing hydraulic transient analysis model into mimetic steady state friction model and unsteady friction model, by selecting Vardy & Brown unsteady friction model with mimetic steady state friction model, the paper carries out an numerical simulation on transient flow process under different pipe lengths, analyzes and compares changing law of friction and pressure head obtained from the two models throughput simulation calculation, and then studies the model's adaptability.
