Characteristics of Expensive Soil and Countermeasure against Disasters in Pipeline Projects

In allusion to possible geological hazards induced by expensive soil in pipeline projects, relationships between engineering characteristics of expensive soil and geological hazards, property of expensive soil and side slope, as well as arefaction activation effect are discussed.Reason analysis on geological hazards occurred in expensive soil and/or side slope and ditch excavation in expensive soil areas are carried out, and relative countermeasures and technical issues are brought forward.
