Cause Analysis of Lightning Stroke at Gas Compressor Stations in Zhongxian-Wuhan Gas Transmission Pipeline and Technical Reform Measures

  • General situation of lightning stroke accidents in gas compressor stations in Zhongxian-Wuhan Gas Transmission Pipeline are introduced, and defects in design and construction of anti-lightning system are investigated and analyzed. Special technology reform measures against lightning stroke are worked out. Technology reform on station constructions and power distribution systems including signal system, equal potential connection, shielded cable and grounding system are carried out. Reformed results show that anti-lightning stroke system keeps steady operation state, which effectively increase operating safety of gas compressor stations in Zhongxian-Wuhan Gas Transmission Pipeline.
