Application of Portable Ultrasonic Wave Detectors at Compressor Stations

Ultrasonic wave detectors can be used to monitor external and/or internal leakage of compressor units and motor bearings atcompressor stations. Monitoring cases are given and detection data are listed. It is pointed out that depending on the ultrasound wave detector, hidden trouble and defects in compressor units can be rapidly detected and found out. which can enhance working efficiency. The detector is suitable for the inspection, maintenance and emergency activities on daily, weekly and monthly basis atthe compressor station of gas pipelines.
