Analysis of Direct Assessment Cases on Internal Corrosion of External Gas Pipelines

Important significance of internal corrosion direct assessment (ICDA) of gas pipeline and its assessment steps is introduced in the paper. Typical cases of ICDA for some foreign gas pipelines are analyzed. The paper investigates its assessment process, assessment conclusion and uncertainty in assessment process. Analysis results can be used as a technical reference for ICDA ofdomestic long-distance gas pipelines.
