Safety Design of LPG Storage System

  • LPG is characterized by low flash point, high combustion value, fast detonation velocity and high expansion coefficient.In view of current conventional safe measures taken on LPG storage and design status quo in LPG pressure storage system, shortcomings existed in the design of LPG tank and assembly process pipeline networks are summarized, and specific improvement measures are presented, which involves in manhole, drain outlet, configuration of emergeny cut-off valves, transfusion pump, the first valve of LPG tank, selection of instrumentations, by-pass pipeline of flowmeter and function requirements of instrument control system.
