Operating Principle and Field Testing of Pipeline Boosters

  • Working principle and commercial application test of pipeline booster are introduced and mechanism of pipeline booster to increase gas throughput is analyzed.It is considered that shock produced from booster disturbs reprocessing cycle of quasi-direction of flow vortex, reduces frictional drag between inner wall of pipe and gas and pressure loss during gas transmission, which enables the flowing velocity of gas to speed up and gas throughput increase.Field test indicates that pipeline booster can remarkablely raise gas throughput without changing pipe diameter and increasing compressor station.
