A New Method of Plate In-line Plugging for Long-distance Oil Product Pipelines

In the light of the disadvantage of clamp plugging method, a new plugging method for oil product pipelines (gasoline or diesel), chain-binding quick-compressing plate plan, is developed, which improves the traditional in-line plugging method in long-distance pipeline by using new processes and new tools. Site application show that this method can be used to the leaking point in and corrosion cracks of pipes in-line plugging promptly with a high safety and reliability.
