Research of Wax Deposit and Dissolution of 0# Diesel Transported at Low Temperature

  • To conduct 0# diesel transportation at low temperature, experiment on the law of wax deposit and dissolution is carried out. Variation laws of wax deposit volume for 0# diesel with temperature and time as well as time laws of wax dissolution for diesel and gasoline at different temperatures are analyzed. Based on calculation results from Sukhov equation, temperature drop curve figures of some petrochemical product pipeline in South China are mapped. Suggestion on transportation scenario for the diesel transported when ambient temperature is lower than wax precipitation point temperature is proposed.
