Research on Integrated Process of Fixed Roof Tanks with Vapor Recovery System

To solve the problems in evaporation loss, high metering error and low utilization coefficient with internal roof tank, vapor recovery system is installed in oil loading section of tankfarm, and technical and economic feasibility study on integrated process of fixed roof tanks with vapor recovery system is carried out. Study results show that this integrated process appears superior over the internal floating roof tank in the respects of final vapor emission control and overall economic benefit. Integrated process of fixed roof tanks with vapor recovery technology is a more advanced process in light oil storage technology.
