Application of Complex Technology on Scale and Corrosion Control in W2 Fault Block of Jiangsu Oilfield

  • Cause of scale corrosion of oil well and control measures are introduced.In allusion to the scale corrosion situation of oil wells and oil pipelines in Jiangsu Oilfield, formulation experiments on scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor are carried out.Laboratory experiments on formulation, static anti-scale rate.anti scale dynamics (scaling induction period) electrochemistry are made to evaluate different scale inhibitors and corrosion inhibitors.Field experiment is conducted on the determined scale inhibitors and corrosion inhibitors with satisfactory performances.Site application results indicate that mean corrosion rate of pipelines is declined and scale corrosion of oil wells is effectively controlled, which elongate the service life of gathering pipelines.
