PIPELEAK Pipeline Leak Detection and Location System and its Application

PIPEI.EAK Pipeline Leak Detection and Location System use mass conservation, pressure-wave sensibility and dynamic equation methods to conduct leak detection, alarm and location of pipelines comprehensively.Based on real-time operation data obtained from SCADA system and through this system's simulation calculation, real—time detecting, alarming and locating on leakage of transportation pipeline in Changqing Oilfield are realized.Field application displays that this system has better sensitivity, reliability and accuracy in location, which can provide an important technical support in safe operation of pipeline.
