Study and Application of Supersonic Ejeetor System for Natural Gas Peak-shaving

  • The paper proposes a novel natural gas peak—shaving technology which features supersonic ejector work together with high—pressure spherical tank, to solve the low utilization rate of natural gas spherical tanks for gas peaking in present situation.The principle of supersonic peak—shaving ejector is introduced. The influences of ejector outlet pressure, ejector working gas pressure and nozzle geometry on the ejector performance are studied, which can guide the optimized design of supersonic ejector.Typical example on operation and application of injection peak shaving is given in the paper.
