Importance: primary impact factor and determination method in reasonable linepack control of gas transmission pipelines are introduced.Advantages and disadvantages of linepack calculation methods for simulation software calculation method and PPS software linepack computing system method are compared and analyzed.Combined with application experiences in calculating appropriate linepack of gas transmission pipelines at home and abroad and taking West-to-East Gas Transmission Pipeline as an example.calculation and analysis on appropriate linepack are carried out.
