Corrosion and Corrosion Control of Pipe Steel in Hydrogen Sulfide Environment

  • Corrosion principle of hydrogen environment is analyzed, category, condition and behavior of SSCC for pipe steel are investigated and primary influencing factors of hydrogen sulfide corrosion on long—distance pipelines are given.Typical SCC pipeline accidents and research status at home and abroad are summarized. Based on research results and research actualities, preventive countermeasures against the hydrogen sulfide corrosion such as coating material, electrochemical protection and inhibitor inj ection are presented.
