Lvjiahe Landslide in West-to-East Gas Transmission Pipeline and Emergency Measures

  • Initial study and analysis on Lvjiahe landslide in West—to—East Gas Transmission Pipeline of Shanxi Province are carried out from physiognomy, structure, development feature and inducing factors.Based on the geology,it indicates that one of the essential reasons of the landslide is a load—on effect of construction, waste residues and remaining wall of a coal mine on its after-edge;and the other is fluvial denudation of Luweihe River at its leading edge.Based on research results, emergency measures for the landslide including improving the environment around Lvjiahe landslide area, changing the route of pipeline and enhancing pipeline patrol are worked out.
