Use and Verification of Exterual Survey Methods for Buried Pipelines

  • The paper introduces technological characteristics of integrated PCM and CIPS/DCVG survey for burifed pipelines.It is considered that operation condition of cathodic protection system and coating can be surveyed and evaluated by the integrated survey method.The integrated survey method is utilized in survey of partial pipe sections of Tieling-Dalian Oil Pipeline.Defect in pipe coating of the pipe section is detected and located with Person Survey.Survey result displays that the thickness of coating in defect is thinner, which verifies the efficiency of the integrated survey method.
