Abstract
Taking the pump station of West-South Oil Product Pipeline as an example, dynamic programming theory is adopted to settle pump running problem of the whole pipeline with speed variable pumps.Considering the minimum power cost of the whole pipeline as an objective function, mathematical model for optimized process of pump running programming of pump stations is established and its solution is given.By setting reasonable time steps and discretizing rotary speed pumps, the speed variable pumps are treated as a series of fixed rotary speed pumps, then computer program is designed to calculate performance parameters of pump and realize optimization allocation of pumps.
