Considerations of On-site Construction Details in Long Distance Pipeline Design

An introduction is made to the on-site construction details which were often neglected during pipeline design. It is pointed out that in the design of long-distance pipelines, stress should be laid on design details from pipeline route finalization, crossing/overhead crossing engineering, performance of mechanical equipment, economic benefit and material procurement, and correct design conception should be built up as well. Everything should be made ready for long distance pipeline design work starting from the point of practicality and economy.
