Comparison and Analysis on Technology Standards of 3PE Coating of Pipelines

  • In allusion to the cathodic disbonding of 3PE coating of pipes in domestic construction, relative standards and technology specifications on 3PE coating of pipes at home and abroad are compared and analyzed to find out their differences in technological parameters from structure of coating, index in row materials, technological assessment of coating, requirement in surface coating and quality testing/acceptance. The influence of technology indexes in epoxy coating, surface preparation and long-term cathodic disbonding on the quality control of 3PE coating is studied and analyzed, and performance indexes to be further improved are put forward.
