Study of Gas Peak Shaving Way for Zhaodong City

Characteristic of gas peak shaving way with gas tank, high-pressure pipeline and underground gas storage is provided. Based on calculation results of uneven gas consumption volume of city, gas supply volume and peak shaving and gas storage volume are determined for Zhaodong City. Through economy comparison with different peak shaving programs, it is concluded that for Zhaodong City, using pipeline of 250 mm in diameter to store gas without building up tanks is the most economic and reasonable way for peak shaving.
