Fatalness Assessment on Working Conditions of LNG Receiving Terminal

Taking the first LNG receiving terminal in China as an example and combined with its system constitution, the paper adopts fatalness assessment method to evaluate the working conditions of every system in LNG receiving terminal. Assessment result reveals hazards and risk levelin individual system of LNG receiving terminal. The sequence of risk level for systems'working conditions is determined based on the risk level value. It is pointed out that during operation of LNG receiving terminal, necessary protective measures for different systems should be taken in order to avoid accident.
