Applied Inspection and Evaluation to the Coating of Bottom Plates of Steel Oil Tanks

  • A technique combined with field inspection and laboratory test is adopted to examine and analyze the property of single electrostatic-conducted coating and compound coating. Results from field inspection, SEM (Scanning Electronic Microscope), energy spectrum analysis and electrochemistry testing system demonstrate that compared with conventional single electrostatic-conducted coating, antiseptic property of the new compound coating is remarkable, which can greatly improve anticorrosive effect of the bottom plates of steel oil tanks.
