Numerical Method for Variable Running Speed of Centrifugal Pumps in Series

  • Based on numerical equation of running characteristics of multiform centrifugal pumps in series, the numerical solution equation on modulating speed running pumps in multi-series is obtained. The process of numerical solution includes the ascertainment of pump's working points and variable speed ratio, and value calculations are conducted and calculation examples are given. Energy saving effects of flowrate adjustment on long distance oil pipelines utilizing throttle and variable running rotation speed ratio are compared through calculation.
