  • Taking West-to-East Gas Transmission Pipeline Project as an example, the paper introduces the technique principle and characteristics of underwater trencher and pipeline floating pulling method in waterside area.Technical feasibility to adopt the pipe floating process is analyzed, construction procedure of underwater trencher and pipeline floating pulling method is described and economy between the underwater trencher and pipeline floating pulling method and common river crossing technique are compared.
