Lightning Preventions and Lightning Monitoring Warning Safety Measures for Large-scale Oil Tankfarm

Three typical lightning striking cases of large-scale oil tanks are presented and their main causes are also analyzed.Taking lightning prevention and monitoring for oil tankfarm in Lanshan Oil Transportation Station of Sinopec as an example, the paper provides the principle of lightning warning system and puts forward that installing the lightning warning system in oil tankfarm can meet the needs of lightning arrest and lightning monitoring.
