Comparison on Crossing Techniques over the Yangtze River for Yizheng-Changling Oil Pipeline Project

Comparison between horizontal directional drilling technique and tunneling technique was conducted using risk analysis method through characteristics analysis of the two crossing methods based on geotechni-cal conditions of the Yangtze River Crossing in Yizheng-Changling Oil Pipeline Project, which provides an economic, safe and rational method for crossing over the Yangtze River of Yizheng-Changling Oil Pipeline.
