Study on Increasing Design Coefficient for China's Gas Transmission Pipeline of High Strength Pipe

  • Increasing pipeline's design coefficient under the condition of pipeline security is capable of decreasing pipe wall thickness, saving pipes and thus increasing economic benefit.A feasibility study is conducted in the aspects of external corrosion, third party's damage, pipe manufacturing technology, weldability and inspection techniques for the purpose of discussing the feasibility of increasing design coefficient of high strength gas pipelines.
