Rheological Study on General Flow Law of Fluid in Pipes

  • Starting from the general flow law for fluid piped, the universal flow law for fluid in pipes is analyzed and a fluid model for general flow in pipes is established and an effective method to calculating fluid resistance of non-Newtonian fluid is presented.Study results are supported by experimental data, which is suitable for analyzing and studying various non-Newtonian fluids piped and helpful to meet the needs of developing construction of coal slurry and slurry pipelines, and also significant for pipelining high viscous crude oils and pour-point crude.
